Managed Hosting
A2Z Computing's dedicated managed hosting service is known as Viper, while our shared managed hosting service is called Viper Lite. Both services are fully managed, monitored and maintained by our Network Operations Centre team and supported 24/7 by UK based technical support operatives.
Standard web hosting services are provided using a FreeBSD operating system and by utilising industry standard packages for web hosting (Apache), mail (postfix, courier and IMAP), database (MySQL) and DNS (bind). An online portal allows domains and email accounts to be created and managed as well as web space assigned to users and also provides detailed web, mail and FTP statistics on a global or per domain basis, live logs and service status. Free anti-SPAM and anti-virus protection is available through our Mailguard service.
Dedicated Hosting
For customers requiring a dedicated server hosted in a secure data centre environment. We supply and maintain a dedicated server on which customers can host or backup their data. The customer maintains complete control over all aspects of server administration including FTP, email accounts, aliases and DNS configuration.
Shared Hosting
For customers requiring basic hosting in a secure and controlled environment. We provide access to a proportion of a server shared with other customers that is managed and maintained by our Network Operations Centre team.
