The exhibition will be held at the Old Chapel Hereford Street Newport, and will run from
27th October until 3rd November. The aim of the exhibition is to give aspiring photographers the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work.

A book will be provided for general comments from the public, hence giving the photographer a chance to ascertain public opinion of their work. This will also give the organisers the opportunity to prepare for next year.

The exhibition will be free to enter and will be an open category event, all pictures must be mounted and framed and will be offered for sale to the general public. Pictures will be accepted up to a maximum frame size of 20 x 16 inches. A commission fee of 10% will be deducted from the sale price before being paid to the photographer.

Orders for prints will be taken at the exhibition, and it will be the responsibility of the photographer to supply a copy of the picture to us to pass on to the buyer. Copyright will remain solely with the photographer. Entrants can enter a maximum of five pictures for the exhibition.

Pictures entered into the exhibition must be received at A2Z Computing The Old Chapel,
Hereford Street, Newport before 12pm on 23rd October 2007.

The competition will be held on Saturday 3rd November and will be judged by an external judge. The categories for the competition are Landscape, Close-up and Creative. Entrants can enter a maximum of two pictures per category with an entrance fee of £5 per category.

Pictures must be clearly marked with the category being entered and the title of the picture. All pictures entered into the competition must be mounted and framed to a size of 20 x 16 inches. Entrants who wish to enter both the exhibition and competition should clearly mark which pictures are entered into the competition, stickers will be provided as necessary. All pictures entered into the competition must be received before the 23rd October 2007.

Winning pictures may be used to advertise the competition in future years but will not be sold or used for any other purpose. The photographer retains full copyright on all photos entered.

Prizes will be awarded for first position in each category, with an additional prize for the overall winner.
